I am NOT aware of any magazine restriction in the U.K
BUT it may depend on what state you are in when in the USA.
AND on US Export licensing

Make sure you use locks on your cases that the US customs can open. If you bag is pulled for a random search they will break in if they cannot open the lock with their key.

If you think you are a person of some importance, try ordering someone else's dog around.

I had this done when I thought it was a good idea to bring a $20 15" machete back from Walmart.

it was still a good idea, but it meant having to buy a TSA lock when i got to my next destination :p

Are you sure about that? No U.S. seller I've come across will ship 10rd MKA1919 mags internationally....

I'm hopefully going to the U.S. This year and I'm planning on bringing back 25rd mags (Walther MP5). They are mainly plastic and I'm going to take them to pieces and spread them between mine and the missus' case, see what happens fingerscrossed

Are MKA1919 mags hard to get here then ?

Are the Akdal and Bora mags compatible ?

Never had a problem bringing back mags with higher capacities, Glock17 mags, 25rnd S&W M&P15-22 mags etc., suitcases were opened and inspected without a problem.

Brought back 8 x 17 round Beretta 92 mags, mag holders, holsters and laser grips in the past - maybe not the laser grips now eh...And a Leupold Mil Dot scope ...............

Always check the voltage on electricals. I got a cracking Pelican flashlight - only trouble was it was 110V - it soon popped!

Why not go for a genuine period correct "limited issue" scope that IS the same as one used in WW2 - but by them there Canada-ians.
There was a Canuck version of the No.4(T) that used a Lyman Alaskan....get a 4x one of them & a set of reducer rings for a repro bracket & you'll be good to go
Even better, and probably cheaper looking at them on the 'bay of evil' in the US of A......will have to snap up a couple in the coming months and get them posted to my mate who lives over there, and I can just bring them back with me when I visit him next year.

Well I spent all my pennies, Lyman Gen 6, 3 sets of dies, 100 Lapua .223 cases in a sealed box, tripod, 2 x 33rd Glock mags, lock and load adapter kit (shed loads cheaper than uk), went through nothing to declare, TSA had been in bag but nothing removed, not stopped and no extra charges! I must have an honest face lol.
Going back next year for more!
