Wouldn't surprise me, they rang the other day asking about the Benelli Super Nova I'd sold a couple of weeks ago as someone in Northants had bought one with the same serial number!.
Yet again they didn't have the details I'd sent informing them of the transfer (I have a confirmation they received the email). Just hope they've got the Sec.1 Benelli M3 details I sent in, not heard anything about that one (yet!).
They also have their new firearms department address details wrong on the website!, doesn't inspire confidence does it emrolleyes

..but it's good to see that Durham Police Authority are even finding work for applicants with single figure IQ's
It also means a local bus firm will have a daily contract, for one of the shorter vehicles

I tried ringing the FLM yesterday morning but couldn't get through so i emailed her and got a "your variation is being dealt with and you will recieve correspondence in the near future" vague-ery/fob off so maybe it is actually ready and they phoned you at the same time. TBH i'm not really in a rush as i still haven't decided whether to hold off and get a 9mm version which i'd get far more use out of (my variation is for one in each main calibre

)

Have you any firm info from Scott on when the various versions will be available?
I can't understand why there's still nothing at all about them on the web site months after them being launched, doesn't make any sense.

One man band too busy making guns to update website? Probably getting enough orders just through the info out there now and doesn't need/perhaps couldn't cope with any more demand at the moment?
I've only managed to speak with Scott on one occasion as he was having a nightmare with his phone line (BT :roll: ) and just went through the specs of the gun i wanted built. Didn't think there was any point calling him again until i get my FAC back

Bet he wouldn't give discount for a double order
I'm looking for a 7.62x39 but not sure if it will have enough pressure with subsonic rounds for indoor use, it should be OK as it'll be around 5gr of N310 pushing a 123gr or 165gr cast boolit. I assume the VZ's are using the same gas system as the semi/full auto versions to operate the bolt?.

Well finally got my FAC back today after 6 weeks and after all the run around Durham gave me about having to get the MARS action added to the NFLMS etc etc they've just issued my FAC with ".223/5.56mmx45 RIFLE" on :roll: :cool2:
As a side note they've also stuck in one of those letters they used to put in when you got an LBR on your ticket aloing the lines of "At present this gun is considered S1, however another FLD has raised concerns regarding the gun and if its status changes you won't get any compensation from us when we confiscate it" tesnews
ANYWAY, time for a trip up to CCA later this month to have a look-see
