The trade fair was the same as usual - I'm not sure what some of the sellers strategies are, but they'll never sell some of those guns at those prices.

We (actually my father did most of the shopping as I was busy shooting) stocked up on reloading supplies...it's convienient to get it all done in one place, but I could have got the same prices at my local shops...

...my old man (a shameless and very good haggler) did get one good deal though; an RCBS trim pro kit for 75 quid :good:

No, I don't know about that...but do know that they are also training new supervisors as well as markers, which just exacerbates the problem.

Btw: The SHED was missed :bad:

Yeah, saw that one too and had to laugh as the guy running it was arguing the toss about why his 1:12 barrels were fine and that nobody expect the military needed anything faster...............

Dougan, good to see you again. How did the 1500 go? Andrew Mercer confirmed more comps entered, more shooters shooting and that was confirmed by the additional vehicles in the car parks. Trade show was quieter than previous years but you have to ask yourself is it any wonder when Allwoods wanted £53 for Fed Large Pistol Primers. Got them from Low Mill for £40. That's a huge difference. I know traders have to cover their costs but that is taking the mick!

I'd be interested to hear where and when the results will be published
