So for the Phoenix, for example, there is no need to fill in the NRA record system in the range office, even if a member of the NRA, since the NRA has records for all the competitors already, which can be consulted (in theory!) at renewal time. Would that be a fair interpretation of the system as far as open comps hosted by the NRA are concerned?

If that is so, then the new range use logging system can be ignored by NRA members who only shoot at Bisley in Open comps, if one preferred not to fill it in? It would, after all, be superfluous--a log already exists in the competition records.

David, that is true for the Imperial TR and MR events (which is what I shoot). The information does not appear to be fully captured on the Phoenix entry form - given the number of firearms a Phoenix competitor might use, that may fall in the "too difficult" class - I will check.

Just for clarity then Karen, did you as a NRA member have to record your use of the NRA shower, and what shampoo/soap etc?

Will that information then be used as evidence for "good reason" to fix the shower at home...?

Do not worry - I have made an official complaint in triplicate to IainWR about the various inadequacies of the NRA shower and what will happen if I have to use it again :o

Oh and for the record - Site 5, cubicle 2, John Frieda Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner and Radox Refresh shower gel used extremely competitively

I am an avid collector of John Frieda Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner - they were on special offer at Tescos - that seems to me to be a good reason to possess
