Re: One Piece Cleaning Rod Recommendations
Got mine delivered today from Stalkers. Only took a week. Something else I ordered from the USA simultaneously took three days... I guess I shouldn't expect too much from 21st Century British gun retail.
Thanks for the help anyhoo.

I guess the US delivery wasn't by US Postal Service then, they'd hardly win any awards for efficiency - I've had Fed-Ex and UPS from the US in 36 hours which is pretty damned good by any standrd.
The Royal Mail/ParcelForce on the other hand are the international yardstick for inefficiency - however Canada Post is even worse.

Yep. USPS. Never had anything go wrong with them. Mind you, we're drifting off-topic now. :)
Re: One Piece Cleaning Rod Recommendations
Well that is very quick - I regularly have stuff shipped by them and seven to ten days seems the norm regardless of where in the USA it comes from - you're very lucky.

I've got a Tipton rod which I do like. Can anyone tell me where I can get an adaptor for Parker Hale jags etc.?
Re: One Piece Cleaning Rod Recommendations
USPS for the most part aren't bad, something coming from say Texas to Northern Michigan usually takes three days after it's shipped. Sending stuff out of country is another thing though, it just depends which US customs depot it goes through. By far the slowest customs depot is the one in New York which for some reason can take about a week to process were as the other depots seem to get the job done in a day or so.

Actually wondering now why I bought one for .22 and .30 - when the .22 one would have done for both. Hey-ho...
