Or Corex.
Good stuff as a target backer but useless as a splash curtain.

On the subject of old conveyor belt material - is there any demand for this?
I ask as I'm doing a small order for a conveyor belt firm at present, so I may be able to source such things....not having approached them yet I cannot state prices yet, but if it is anything like most other industries, the old belting will be nothing more to than than a product that costs them money to remove & have scrapped/recycled.
ANYONE want me to get some info?

You might be surprised how much they want for it even though it is scrap. Recycling rubber products is big business now a days. Just check out the paths on your next range day and the back stops on the military short ranges for a example. I think you will find they are recycled rubber. As are the surfaces in Children's play grounds etc. They even make Women's designer shoes out of tyre treads.

Will be seeing them once my fittings come into stock - in a week or two - so will broach the subject then.

Folks;
There is a company in Lancaster who produce all kinds of rubber sheeting including linatex, conveyor belts material etc.
I've absolutely no idea what kind of money that they would be looking for per metre but I'd be happy to drop by and get some quotes next time I'm in town if anybody was interested.
Take a look at their website (lancasterrubber.co.uk) which gives a list of products and descriptions that they manufacture.
No personal connection with the company other than the realization that our club will have to change out our own linatex curtains probably some time next year sign01
