It's a nice warm and toasty +1 at Ponteland (which in Newcastle is T-Shirt and shorts weather) :good:

We're off there this afternoon with the Tyne Valley club, light layers underneath, some very weatherproof Redhead camo kit on top and a pair of 800 Gram Thinsulateā„¢ Insulated Hunting Boots, it's almost like being in a sauna
I was up on sunday bloody cold wind.not many lasted the day.
my first time there joined the club.
weather can only get better :o :o

We had to leave just as we went back to 200m as I had to pick up my daughter and shopping on the way home. We were the two 6 foot plus lumpy things in Camo on number 11 firing point smile2

Considering the 25mph wind and lack of feeling in the fingers we shot pretty well I thought :good:

I was going to go to Ponteland but it didn't look like it was going to be cold enough so i went over to Carlisle to play in the 10ft snow drifts showcased so well on the news.

Drove over on the A69 waiting for the snow to appear, none did. Got to Carlisle gun club to find the only snow there had fallen off the roof of the match organisers car who'd come down from Dumfries. The sun even made an appearance at one point, i was GUTTED(!)

I'm still kicking myself over that last inner - if I'd opened my mouth a second or two earlier and called "wait" I'd have got you the point!

The hell with the cold weather, Spring has finally arrived in Northern Michigan. The last couple of days have been sunny and warm with temps set to climb and today I started seeing migratory birds for the first time. Roll on summer.
