The Zf41 is quite surprisingly useful. No way a long range sniper, but has nice eye relief (Too much for some). Zeoring is an ar$e as the recticle moves like in a zig zaggy figure eight movement and you need to take the sunshade,tiny retaining screw, then front eyepeice, then with two allen wrenches or something similar, rotate the cam to move the poa. I did mine in my back garden, then at 300 yards. If you can do that and get it sorted, then nice peice of kit !

Thats a fine collection of Surps mate, the M16A1 straight pull is very nice, makes a change from all those "Speedmasters" out there. All you need now is the straight pull AK and you have the Cold War trio!

Whats the bore on your 1915 Mauser like, I bet she is beautiful to shoot.

Thanks, the m16 is a sabre defence, upper is a suplus 602.
Bore is "good" on the G98, Shoots well, in fact not shot it for over a year now, ouch.

Nice gear, if I was to get the AK I would have to mod it like a Vietcong Chinese Type 56-1 so that I would have the Vietnam war opposers.

No problem just a side note, the above adjustment is for windage. For Elevation you can use the dial , which works in clicks and the crosshair stays centred, very nifty bit of kit for its time.

I really fancy one for my Swedish, which is very accurate with a modern scout scope...sounds reasonably practical...but will have to wait til I'm a bit more flush...

sorry to be late to the party so to speak but i thourght people may be intrested in my 20th century military collection, i use these for target use and reenactment this is split over 2 posts as to not exceed file limits. I plan to share with you my Martini henry collection just as soon as i have photographed them all ok from the top

my SMLE it is a LSA 1916 built example with South Africa service marks, i think it is a lawance ordnance refurb with new BSA barrel, this is my primary rifle when i reenact ww1 and has featured a few times on tv.

My Magazine Lee Enfield Mk 1* 1902 LSA, south Africa service marks, demoted to drill purpose around ww1 but recommisioned for derbyshire home guard use in the 1940's. i use this for boer war reenactment and ww1 territorial army reenactment.

Martini-Enfield .303 originally built by enfield in 1874 as a Mark I but converted to 303 in 1899, has several VIC GOV stamps so australian service.

Next up is my Remington built P14 in mint condition, set up as a NRA match rifle by parker hale in the 20's with a match barrel and a 5B sight, serves as a Late ww1 sniping rifle in its theatrical guise.

a Very nice Number 4 mark 2 made june 1949 this rifle came out of storage in canada and was my first full bore rifle.

A Ishapore 2A1 rifle in 7.62 modified to look like a SMLE MK3* built 1966 i restocked this one with a spare set i found in my shed. good rifle as accurate as any 303 rifle.
