Ordnance. This is contentious. Some clubs have recently put them on a club ticket. Here in Derbyshire though for example, the official work is that a LBP or section one shotgun can only be used if listed by serial number on your ticket.

I know. Inconsistent nonsense.
I suppose one issue could be that we have one police force here, while there are lots of forces in the rest of the UK. They don't seem able to get together and have a consistent policy across the forces.

Got to remember Ordnance, that across the water where you are, pistols are still S1 and everything that goes with that in relation to HO approved clubs. Long barrelled revolvers and long barrelled pistols are a bit of a "conjured up category" that when it was decided that they were indeed S1 and not a "loop hole" to the 1997 Ammendment, the Home Office, a labour controlled entity at the time, continued their spite by adding a number of "conditions" to the category.

One of those was should they subsequently be banned due to the Home Sec deciding they were especially dangerous, no compensation would be paid as with the '88 or '97 Acts, and, that they would not be considered suitable for the conditions of a "club gun", as with a S1 shotgun. Hence, only those that have the said gun, LBR/LBP/S1 shotgun on their ticket, may shoot it.

Yes, there have been individual cases where LBRs have been permitted on club tickets after a county court case, but these judgements have not been binding.

Not sure on his point... The K22 is a real k22 as well, the buckmark is a real browning. Has anyone done some proper accuracy testing on these yet?

We need a shoutout day, gsg1911, low mill 1911, p226, k22, buckmark.

Test them all for reliability and accuracy. Toss out the fanboy facts and get down to some real data.

Anyone else fancy this?

1000 rounds to "run in"? Even a run in gun still had a number of light strikes...? Quality ammunition doesn't suffer from that amount of failures.

I think there's a fair bit of brand snobbery going on in this thread, simple as that. teanews

my buckmark runs and runs, I wouldnt swap it for anything else, owes me about half what people are spending on these 1911 etc etc

I have handled the K22 Xtrim and like the way it feels but was too light for me, it all comes back to what I beleive is the intended use for it, for those that want to reminisce about the good ol days or those that want to get the job done :)

for practical shooting where speed is prime concern and accuracy isnt that important then yes I can see these style being a huge amount of fun, but I wonder how many I will see on the line shooting 1500 etc.

I still reckon its a huge amount of money though.

How so?

We're talking about a new gun to the UK market where the sum of its parts has somehow produced an astronomically priced article by comparison, that appears still not to be reliable. Having previously owned and shot extensive full bore Sig pistols, I'm sorely disappointed that this venture seems half arsed and poor value.

I would love for this to be what a Sig represented. Yes, the high end of the market, but still good value and utterly reliable and accurate. I cannot attest to its accuracy and likewise, I've not read or seen anything that tests this accuracy. So far the only aspects to be evidenced is its price and its unreliability....
