Midway, Sinclairs, all Fu^&ing crap

Had a good experience with a gun shop or rifle maker? Found a good deal? Tell us about it. Had a bad experience, TELL THE GUN SHOP!

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

I have used Natchez shooters supplies a couple of times, they email you the shipping cost before confirming the order, and that can take a couple of days if they are busy, other than that the prices are reasonable and the whole deal pretty painless.

When I emailed them about the customs form, not even the courtesy of a reply. Rather disapointing.
Yep I've dealt with Tubbs once as well, wasn't impressed and didn't go back

Saddler, to be honest mate I think a lot of their stuff is overpriced, some of the stuff they sell on their website can be had cheaper elsewhere for the exact same product.

Kennyc. Natchez is another of my go to places, I bought my RCBS chargemaster from them for around $80 cheaper than Midaway and all the other big names were asking at the time.

I wrote an email to Sinclairs, today I got a response party2 party2 party2

Which proves it's worth complaining, I retract my comment about Sinclairs but Midway will never see any business from me.

Hi

Totally shocked !!!! How can an item that weighs a couple of ounces and measures about 1/2 inch cost $37 to ship even by air!!!!

Not a happy customer I'm afraid, it's unlikely I'll ever be using Sinclairs again.

Yours Alan C

Mr. C

I apologize. Your order should have shipped 1st class mail. I have credited your card $30.88 for the overcharge. You should see this on your card as credit in the next 3-5 business days.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Aren't Midway PANTS!

I ordered some mags on the 20th dispatched on the 21st, with a tracking number from parcel force but you hit the tracking button and get nothing, no updates, I called them and they said they were closed but were dispatching orders ...................

Grr I know its xmas and all but keep your customers informed.

I emailed Parcel Force to ask them where it was and got the reply below:

Thank you for your enquiry.

According to our records, the item is still at the sender's address and has not been collected.

Please can you confirm with the sender that the parcel was collected by Parcelforce Worldwide and the parcel number given to you is correct.

If it has left the US, then it will most likely still be in Customs.

Don't know why, but all of my orders from MidwayUK have been correct and within the delivery time scales!
