I'll be down there shooting DTL Clays in the morning then when I've got bored with missing everything, we'll be walking around the trade show, which never normally takes long.

I'll be wearing a Red Carnation in my left hand lapel with a rolled up newspaper under my right arm and wearing sun glasses. tongueout tongueout tongueout

I'll be there on Saturday, was hoping to stock up on some GP11 ammo but have just seen that it has gone up from £54/100 to £63/100 within the last month !!!! (could it be because of the show me thinks????)
Looks like I will be trying to buy some 7.5 x 55 Swiss loading dies and brass instead. Shame, as it shoots really well but I'm not paying that. It was only £37/100 a couple of years ago grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

Moan over, hope to see some of you there.

Aah.....you must have been looking at the same place as me. Just noticed that the 7.92x57 has gone up £3 per hundred as well :o I only rung him yesterday to ask if he could put 600 aside for me to pick up at the show!

Buy Priv 7.5x55 and once you have shot it you can reload it. Cheaper as well.

Will probably take 4 or 6 tubs, depending on price.

I was speaking to a friend of mine at the range to night and he was telling me that they were re-squadded due to lack of entries and RCO's.

Meetings are like guns, use them or loose them!
I hope it's not quite - last year the trade-fair wasn't too bad, but there weren't that many people shooting on the Sunday.

I don't understand why more people with classics don't shoot the meeting...I've got a day and half of shooting (including some courses of fire that you don't often get the chance to shoot), with organised range conducting and butt-marking for less than 60 quid....

...I'll bring you and Rog a cuppa when I get there tomorrow :good:

The weather report isn't looking too bad now for the weekend :shakeshout:

...it would have been a shame not to use all the ridiculously consistent and carefully assembled rounds I spent the best part of a weekend making, just to shoot through a couple of SOWRs at 200 yards...

...Good luck to anyone shooting
