I'm with Mr Logic... if you're going for 5 ring and the ammo is only hitting 2/10 when you're on target, then theres something wrong..

If you have ammo thats capable of .5MOA in your rifle, its atleast one thing less you need to worry about and you can concentrate more on reading the wind and seeing what YOU are doing, not second guessing because the ammo can only just about hold the 4 ring!

That's my line of thinking, change a variable and see what happens. So if I buy 20 rounds of the expensive stuff and I get a performance improvement, that will be something learnt. I suspect the Hawke scope I got with the Steyr might not be brilliant either, so I'll be keeping my eyes out for something circa £600 towards Christmas time.
