Some Arabic (care of army course) and some dodgy Japanese and Turkish (care of Japanese and Turkish girlfriends). Never really had to learn any European languages as the wife is fluent in so many. She studied languages at Uni and is fluent in Russian, French, Spanish. She's pretty good at Italian, Portugees, and German.
She can basically get by in just about any language of the West which she proved recently when a Pole shouter some abuse at her. You should have seen his face when she threw many times more abuse right back at him!

good on her scotsgun, wish I could get my head round this language of the missus...I just rely on her, much easier...

re comments, had that happen here a few years ago, me and missus speaking English, couple of local lads commented on her " large attributes".....She ripped into them Glega style...exit two red faced panic stricken lads.
