Was OK for me, I have never followed the crowd smile2 Did like Paul Young though and Bodie and Doyle. Got my first car, first proper job. Those were the days.

The 80's were great! - Yes we/I looked a pillock, but the pop was so varied, and then towards the end of the 80's there we're the raves :shakeshout:

...and I loved my Capri 8-)

I have to admit that when I see young lads at work with their hair brushed over their face (as they do now) it irritates me...but then have to remember that when I was their age, I have a photo of me with a dyed blonde quiff and wearing a lime green shirt with white trousers and espidrills (no socks)

I had a 1.6S MkII, i would have liked the 2.0 or even a V6 jobbie but the 1600 had to do, it was replaced with a 2.0 litre Saab 90 that was loads of fun :good:

There's a Capri on our road, beautiful looking thing. I dread to think how much money it's had spent on it over the years. I always thought they were good looking cars myself, kinda like a normal mans E-type!
