Wonderful #1 rifles! I believe almost all of the nice examples stayed on your side of the pond! I only have two at this point and neither is much to talk about:

#1mk3* BSA dispersal 1943 with mixed wood. Numbers match. Paid $85 for it because the gunshop indicated it was 'broken' and the bolt couldn't be opened easily. The safety was assembled incorrectly.

#1mk3* Ishapore 1950. Nice bore and all matching except the bolt. Somewhere, someone has the bolt to my rifle in their rifle!
