Christel,

Have you tried a good gas gun???

Started life as a s2 Beretta Xtrema2 with kickOff, converted to s1 myself, with the prior approval of and subsequent inspection by The Police, added a SRM Performance Products extension mag and fitted the Angle Port button and TruGlo fiber optic sight.

Nice work Rob, any problems getting the old magazine tube off or is a screw on extension and spring?

You need a scope mount and a red dot on that and start shooting slugs!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

It did give me some hassle...the old crimped plastic tube was sealed in and I improvised a couple of 25mm scope rings to ease it loose. Got an uncrimped tube from a very compliant smithy on GT who shall remain nameless and that went in like a dream. :D

The tube kit was simple.

I shoot better with it than my White Onyx...I put that down to better gun fit and more practice with the semi since that is the one I prefer in the field when I miss the first time.

Would my Bushnell Trophy 1X32 Red T Dot be ok for slug, Sim G?...the one you hate on my 1894?

I'll need a 24" barrel and a UKPSA range not too far from Cardiff...anyone know one??? If I were to go for hog in Forest of Dean etc I suppose I'll need DSC1 to get FAC variation???

I think the nearest serious PSG place to you would be Border Guns but it would be a good two hour drive each way.

Red-dots for PSG :bad: Red-dots for TSG :good:

Mark,

What sort of scope do you recommend for my Xtrema2, assuming I ever get a 24" barrel for it? Beretta have stopped making them apparently.

This sort of thing??? Which MOA?

Yes that would be ideal imho, that or the Docter version (or Bushnell one if you're on a budget). Personally i just can't get away with 'tube' red-dots :G

I had an Edgar Bros on my M2, then a Leupold Prismatic (outstanding optic!), now it wears a Burris Fastfire. Can't fault it.
