Question is is it worth depriving before tumbling wet, or just tumble in media with primers in?
Definitely deprime before wet tumbling. Otherwise you won't get the pockets clean, and you'll struggle to get the pockets dry.

Not as a rule. The reaming tools or swagers only remove staking or crimping that held the primers into STANAG or similar loads. The reamers should be smooth sided and only uniform the depth of the holes, uniforming the face where the primer bottoms out. All they should remove is carbon and the odd anomaly. Shooting wet ammo can enlarge primer primer pockets in 1 or 2 firings.
