Not as a rule. The reaming tools or swagers only remove staking or crimping that held the primers into STANAG or similar loads. The reamers should be smooth sided and only uniform the depth of the holes, uniforming the face where the primer bottoms out. All they should remove is carbon and the odd anomaly. Shooting wet ammo can enlarge primer primer pockets in 1 or 2 firings.Rockhopper wrote:The danger of being to enthusiastic could be that you end up with loose primers.
