The cases I got off Rob (rox) were like new so I use his recipe now :good:

The car polish is essential, I use T-cut as I had a gallon of it lol It works better when cut with white spirit though like rox suggested. :good:

The media arrived to day I have been shooting this evening but I will have a look at it tomorrow and get the tumbler out. Just need some dirty cases to try it on.

The red stuff I use occasionally with my 7.5x55 ,turns them like gold colour, but bright and nice,it's still media tho the metal pins in. Wet tumblers is a right faff, but I've never seen better results, the proofs in the inside and primer pockets.... unbelievable.....I need to look into this in 2018

I get what you’re saying completely, but I have a major block when it comes to wet cleaning of cases! Got caught out 30 years ago when I used to put sized pistol brass in a pillow case and run them through a hot cotton cycle on the washing machine! Loaded 500 wet cases one day....

Oh, I remember the day she caught me, well! 500 .45 ACP cases in the washing machine and a stainless steel 1911 slide, bushing and barrel in the dishwasher!!
