Smokeless lubes are best avoided with black powder as that can create hard to remove fouling rings, black powder lube can be used with smokeless though for up to around 1800 fps, do use a black powder bullet design though that can hold sufficient lube.

All my underlever bullets are lubed with black powder lube regardless of whether they will be loaded in smokeless or black powder rounds.
