Re: A Tuesday at the range
I have some los 124gr plated flatpoints from blackrifle, but have been struggling to find time to shoot, let alone reload atm, so have been buying for the time being... I'm thinking of that RL1000 of running man's as a 9mm machine.... I knew I couldn't shoot lead through it, but didn't know it was that picky, thanks for the heads up! It comes with the box and a few other bits, so I'll have to see if I get a scraper tooSim G wrote:bradaz11 wrote: This will be along with the 38 hopefully

Now you're taking the pi$$!
My P9S was my favourite H&K as I also had the PSP (the fore runner of the P7) which had the same heel-of-butt magazine release. I've never had a pistol that would throw the brass as far as the PSP would...!!
Not sure what your access to 9mm ammo is, but in the P7, make sure you only use TMJ. Even bullets with an exposed lead base can cause the gas vent to block and foul the gas cylinder to the point of jamming the gun. H&K used to supply each PSP/P7 with a carbon scraper for the cylinder.
It's an in joke with H&K pictures, ever since they put out a catalogue with it on the front coverDanTheMan wrote:Did you get a jam with one of those mags![]()

I would love to have a P7 - fired one once and fell in love, but they were always too expensive for my pocketbook.

Very nice thread, thanks for sharing! I also laughed at the intentional magazine loading, I knew it must've been a H&K "no compromise" straight away.

anything is possible, it's how you can justify it. brand new from factory pistols are less likely unless you have a good reason for it in the collection.Dellboy wrote:SO A CZ75 COMPACT could be a possibility ??

Also green with envy...Tell me about those targets though, were you trying to empty a mag as quick as possible or was that slow fire precision?
