Reccomend me a single shot break action rifle

Anything Fullbore rifle related, Hunting, Target, Match.

The Baikals are relatively cheap (under £300 new)and solid guns that shoot very well and are available here, York guns do them I believe.

I would have had one if they had done them in more interesting calibres, the 222 and the 30-06 have tempted me but I have enough guns in those calibres as it is.

My pal has one in 30-06 - the trigger pull is measured in cwt!!!

Must have got the duffer.

The ones I have shot have been fine, stiff but crisp.

Anyway shouldn't be a problem for him, nothing an angle grinder won't sort.
