Interesting, I'd never seen an MP3008 until you made me google it. Yes agreed, ze germans are notorious for over engineering everything. The Tiger I being a prime example.

Supposedly when Hitler examined a T-34, he declared it obviously useless because the welds hadn't been ground down and the paint work was poor....

As is often said, the Germans depleted huge resources building 3,000 awesome Tiger tanks, when all they really needed was 80,000 average T34's.

Thankfully they did...
I never liked Germany, nor the Germans. I much prefer bacon to sausages and words shouldn't have that many letters in them.
My Granddad was the same. Northumberland Fusilers, 1938 to 1946. Dunkirk and D Day veteran.

They're arrogant and they have a superiority complex. Pride before a fall...

That Zagi is very reminiscent of the type of submachine gun the Chechens knocked up during the First and Second Chechen War with Russia, they had a whole cottage industry producing weapons like this.Pretty much the same in the Khyber Pass region of Afghanistan as well but the gunsmiths there tend to copy existing firearms (the ubiquitous AK-47 /AKM, Martinis and various Enfields etc) but they do make some interesting "bespoke" guns as well!.
Various home-made Chechen guns......

Your loss ... I happen to really like Germany & Germans, especially with the blonde ones with big ones As a whole, they are straight-forward, pragmatic & uncomplicated people and more than arrogant, they tend to be over self confident & "in your face". A lot of the country is simply stunning and Berlin is probably the very best capital city in Europe to live in. Having a German mother & having been based on the shores of the Bodensee for 1 year, I may be a tad bias but as I said ... your loss Sim.
Mein Gott ... a Frog having to stick for the Krauts ...

I have a German surname and heritage, so I feel I can have a dig...
"over self confident & "in your face"." <-- Yep that's the bit I don't like... Don't get me started on the yanks or we'll be here all night...

I served in Bielefeld and Murnau in Bavaria. My view of Germany/Germans is not borne of some xenophobia. Based purely on experience....
Ironic given the general attitude in the UK to say, towards the French, for instance. My dealing and working, which can be on a daily basis, has always been positive...
The Germans would love another crack at European domination, to my mind. They nearly got it as well....

That's the superiority complex thing again... They think everyone else is either lazy or stupid.
