Loads of fun those. Had a go on one the other day. They go full auto if you hold the lever release down while you stroke the forward assist with a feather.

....I thought they only went full auto if you shimmed the bolt race with sliced up ACPO ID cards?
Someone is having a laugh telling you to use a feather!

Ha ! What I meant was sometimes when I pulled the trigger, Upon hearing the bang then immediately pressing the lever release, the bolt doesn't go forward!! I thought once you hear the bang the bolt is already gone back due to sheer speed of the blow back ??

depends how dirty the bolt is...
if you aren't precision aiming, just blatting off a mag you will probably be able to beat the action, all it means though is you have to hit the release again, not get a semi auto....

with a dirty bolt? yes, because it slows the bolt down slightly
but i have the uzi mag type, so your glock version might behave differently

You'll just be thinking you're hearing the shot but you'll actually be anticipating it and pressing the lever early. I used to suffer from premature lever release too and it was the main reason I sold mine. I've only seen two people who can operate them at speed during a competition, it's definitely a skill.

I heard one chap train himself to treat the lever release as part of his trigger reset and that seemed to be working for him.
