What I am chuffed about now is my excellent everyday vision, I can see colours in their full glory, the tractor on the next field and the birds in the sky.
Reading glasses have just become part of life now.

Shooting is not a problem however as I have always used a scope it wasn't before.
Hmm, not sure there should be a scar. They've got the incisions down to <2mm these days with folding lenses.

I know what you mean about the colours. Some days I see white clouds in my left eye and brown ones in my right wtf .

How long after the op could you resume fullbore shooting?

I am sure I have been told a week however please ask your consultant about this.
I have both times waited with shooting until I was done with the drops which is 4 weeks.

Thanks Christel.

I'm planning to have the op in September after the summer's shooting so have plenty of time to do my research and worry about possible side effects!

I will report back afterwards ...
