Hmm, not sure there should be a scar. They've got the incisions down to <2mm these days with folding lenses.christel wrote:

The crescent shaped shadow which is the scar (as far as I understand it).
The reflections (coming from the artificial lens).

What I am chuffed about now is my excellent everyday vision, I can see colours in their full glory, the tractor on the next field and the birds in the sky.
Reading glasses have just become part of life now.
Shooting is not a problem however as I have always used a scope it wasn't before.
