why don't you just use the shell holder from your press? they fit in fine, it's what i use.

When I say broken I mean the end has snapped in half, good tip all the same. These days I much prefer to use a collet puller although I have been known to resort to a collet chuck in a lathe in the past for large and obscure stuff.

I mean instead of using the insert, use a shellholder, as you were talking about sending him your insert...

Are we correct in thinking that .303 and 7.62x54R use the same .311 bullet size too ?

Finnish government pulled several million .303 rounds post-WW1 for their tracer bullets.

One of the biggest non-Russian manufacturers of 7.62x54R ammunition was Greenwood & Batley of Leeds.
Also a big .303 ammunition manufacturer.

The SMK bullet for the .303 is supposed to work well in the 7.62x54.
