You have to keep in mind the market that Hatsan's are designed for...
Imported guns in Turkey (Brownings etc) cost a fortune compared to the UK both in overall cost and relative to the average income.
The well healed here will always buy expensive guns for show...and bragging rights. The average chap will generally buy home grown products.

Buying a Hatsan is no different to the people who buy a Kia, Skoda or some French car..... They do the job and will get you from A to B but they aren't the sort of cars that "Petrol-heads" would enthuse over.
Re: Hatsan issue
Yes agreed - it does a job of work. The home market for them is wide open as it's no big deal to own a shotgun unlike the UK (a bit tighter than irt used to be though).
Over here they don't have a club system as such other than hunting clubs and one or two trap clubs where you'll see a few Berettas etc because they make you a better shot! At the prices here they should do.
Also of course is the fact that spares for imported guns (as in the UK) are not always easy to get.
Mine were bought NOT because of price but FIT..so many people buy a named gun (and shoot bad) because the fit is all wrong.. Same with my CZ HC-P - great fit but I did want a Benelli...just it was all wrong for my wee arms.. hatsan and CZ are just right for me.
Just look how many newbies come on here and rhyme off brand names they'll buy - but have never shot any one of them.
Anyway you can throw away a good few Hatsans before you clock up the price of a Benelli

True, but I love my Benelli M1 Super 90 and M2 Practical..... they might be more expensive than Hatsans but they are great quality cycle anything.... I'm very happy with them both.

Re: Hatsan issue
I can only assume that Pete Moore has some kind of pasty/pie sponsorship deal with Hatsan as in this months GunMart theres yet another article about the Hatsan MPA touting it as the ultimate PSG gun.
He's either a corporate whore or genuinely doesn't know WTF he's talking about.
I'm only glad I didn't have to pay to read the tripe he was spewing.
