Just finished doing a barrel change on an AR15. Was a bit dubious about stainless steel but I have to say that now that it is on it looks good, the previous barrel was well shot out and has now been chopped up and consigned to the scrap bin.

If any of you oomans 'as defunct barrels we'd be interested to section them and metallurgically examine them. Maybe just the chamber end, say about 10 inches worth, cut down the centreline so they are not pressure bearing....
