Forms filled in , land permission forms , photos etc all done , new feo said visit on 23rd Jan ?? Yes , rounds counted , reloads as well , drew the line at loose .22lrs in a box and guessed. Bit confusing re .223 reloads in 5.56 brass , likewise .308 in GGG 7.62 brass , explanation needed but all ok . New feo is retired traffic cop and lots to learn but a genuinely nice bloke.

fingerscrossed fingerscrossed :flag13:

I had my ticket changed from 7.62 to 7.62/.308 just to avoid that problem. Two RFD's said they wouldn't sell me .308 if i just had 7.62 on my ticket.

Scotland seem to be getting their arse in gear, put my application in for grant in the beginning of December, had my interview, referees checked and club status checked by middle of January and now just awaiting the decision, presume the GP has already been done due to not being knocked back by now, but could be wrong.

Anybody know of the order they seem to do things? Or is it force by force and do it how they want?

Oooh - they did, did they. Edinburgh office assured me that Police Scotland would NEVER add that condition.

Thats an automatic condition to be granted once good reason for possession has been demonstrated (according to the Home Office Guide on Firearms Licensing Law).

It is for the whole country, except saddler.....!! lol

I reckon Police Scotland lie awake at nights just thinking of the next thing they'll say or do to him to watch him fly to 63000 feet!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!
