Don't you usually pay extra for the "rubber glove service" when you visit that bondage club of yours??

So you visited the Bass Pro Shop too right?phaedra1106 wrote:Our record is 118Kg, 2,000 Nosler 168s, 1,000 55gr, cast reloading press, 500 Starline 44 brass and God knows what else! :)
4 x 23Kg bags and the rest split between 2 backpacks, using Virgins Downtown Disney check-in you avoid the airport desk so no weighing of your hand luggage :)

Only to get a pair of boots for Jared, it's too expensive otherwise. All the reloading components, cleaners, lubes etc. etc. I ordered from Midway, Sinclairs/Brownells, Titan Reloading and Starline. I got the 8-32x56 Sightron from 4scopes.WelshShooter wrote:So you visited the Bass Pro Shop too right?

As an ex Customs officer can I point out the following.
1) You have US regulations to comply with whilst you have the goods with you in the USA so be aware of US Federal and State law.
2) You have US Export regulations to comply with
3) You airline regs to comply with for checked in and carry on bags. They are a LOT tighter on bag sizes and weights nowdays so don't get hit with excess bag charges.
4) You have TSA to deal with, who are best avoided as they may be tools but their not very sharp.
5) You have UK Import regulations. Almost impossible to find with out new 'E' systems' buy I'd advise you to have your FAC with you. Do Not bring barrels, chambers, slides or frames UNLESS you have a variation for them.
6) You are unlikely to see any Customs as they are all swiping passports at Immigration. However you are allowed £360 of goods Duty Free (if for your OWN use there is no allowanve for you non travelling 'pal' / mate at the club etc.). Duty rates vary BUT there is the 20% VAT. Fail to declare and the amount can be doubled and the goods seized.
Know what the UK price is before you go is RULE 1.

All good points, the Duty Free allowance is £390 not £360 :)

May of missed it (apologies if so) but are Magazines ok to be brought back? Thinking specifically M&P 15-22 versions.
Re: Holiday in USA what can I legally bring back?
Magazines of 10-rd (or lower) capacity are ok
