What are the shooting organisations doing esp with acpo trying to make laws !! Why haven't the government put a stop to acpo activities??

What's happining with regards to that stupid grass helpline ? If nothig why not ?

All these issues must be taken up with a government Minster NOT the homeoffice
I've emailed my MP about these thing several times, but seeing as he's a government minister, I haven't had a response.
Ha! Mine's a future labour leader who was around in '97 so I've got no chance - but I'll prod her (metaphorically) to see what if anything comes of it.

I think Froggy of this parish seems to have some "prodding" influence with certain MP's...tell him to get the leather shorts on again & get busy!

and criminalising the possession of tools which "might" be used to modify a firearm.
So that's things like saws, screwdrivers, guages, files - and just about every engineering firm and school metalwork room in the UK totally FUBAR'D then? kukkuk kukkuk
Political Correctness is the language of lies, written by the corrupt , spoken by the inept!

Quite honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the NPCC wouldn't go so far as recommend to have every member of the population not a part of the police force or the House of Commons permanently sedated and amputated in order to prevent crime.

After all, if people can't move and have no hands or legs, they can't commit crime, can they? :p

7.34(2) Modernisation – ensure the law is fit for purpose in the 21st century and
takes account of technological advances. There is evidence to suggest
that dangerous firearms are now being manufactured with the purpose of
ensuring they do not fall within the definition of ‘prohibited weapon’.
This
is because the Acts do not take into account recent developments and
opportunities for firearms manufacture. Codification would ensure the law
is adaptable and can be easily amended to take account of these recent
developments.
Looks like someone is rattled by the lever-release and MARS style of rifle.
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

Following the law, fancy that. Anyone think I as a MARs owner need to be worried at all?

I'm curious as to how they could change the definition of Manual opp so easily also. But then again nothing surprises me anymore.

Well, you will insist on owning a 'dangerous firearm'. ;)
