Not entirely true Paul. Muzzle loaders made before 1939 and cartridge guns with a calibre on the Home Office Obsolete list can be freely acquired.You only need to add them to your licence if and when you want to shoot them.

I had just got off 2 long haul flights and was having my luggage inspected at customs at the time... I had lots of questions, I just didn't want to look like a nut... (Even if I am one). :p
