A muzzle brake made my Ruger Scout much more user friendly.

I bet it did, was yours one of the export models with thread that just contained a target crown and sight? I do believe they are now exporting the Flash hider equipped models now?

lol lol lol Yeah you're saying that now but just you wait until the aches and pains start ailing you 24/7, you might just change your mind about them

I gotta few "aches and pains" by this time of life, and I still wouldn't install a brake - not on a bet. As hv says , 'I hate the bloody things'. :)

I have one on my CSR rifle. Its very effective.

But I have hearing damage and my tinnitus is not helped by it.

I think I will replace it with an ase utra cqb-s.

What are ya shootin' ? A .475 or something?? I dunno, my BLR .308 has a kick to it, but nothing that even this ol' pensioner lady can't deal with......
