How many long barrel FAL's in .308 are out there? I believe there's only 24 in the country all together and only a hand full of these are long barreled. Also I believe there are also 10 x .22 FALs and 10 x .223 FALs. Quite a rare beast.

Another beauty. Do you own any ugly guns Halodin?

Thanks, which other gun of mine did you like the look of? The way a rifle looks is important to me, even the match 54 is a really nice example. So I guess the short answer is not really, but my marlin 1894SS looks a bit plain jane, I haven't tarted it up yet, but I will.

Yeh that does looks nice... Nice scope, nice scope rings with an AI mod and anti-mirage heat shield...
I've been meaning to take a nice picture of my M14 EBR, when I do I'll post it here, it's another looker IMO.

I need to take that first step of joining a club as a probationer, which would be Oundle.

OK so very early days! Good glad to hear it, it's a good club with good facilities and a good vibe and we'd be happy to have you on board. Myself and Alan (20Series) are on the committee, so if you need anything let either of us know. Look forward to meeting you at some point! How local are you?
Cheers,
Craig.

Thanks Craig. And I look forward to meeting you and Alan. I'm just north of Cambridge.
