What is FTR??
FTR is limited to .308 and .223 caliber rifles.
There are, as always, a few rules:
An F/TR Class rifle must not weigh more than 8.25 kg. (about 18lb. 2 oz.) including scope and bi-pod. Permitted chambering are 308 Winchester/7.62 Nato and 223 Remington/5.56mm.The rifle may only be supported by a simple bi-pod and/or sling.A sand-bag may be used under the butt. There is no restriction on scope-power.Factory or hand-loaded ammunition may be used and any bullet-weight is permitted.
He can call it what he wants and and clubs can change rules as they see fit
however I see that one of your ranges is at Diggle. The F/Class league has a number of shoots there and I would not be suprised to hear that other F/ Class comps are ran so people can practice in competition conditions. I am not that bothered what you do, I just thought you may want to consider keeping your rig F/TR comp compliant.
Recommended scope for AI AT

It was not a criticism on my part, but a response to your comment: my point being that there are individuals whom take part in the F T/R for the sole purpose of shooting and may not have a compliant’ F T/R specification rifle - quite OK by me if that's allowed, because that is what I intend to do.
