Definitely no straight pull versions of the VAL or Vintorez, both use heavy subsonic 9x39 rounds including the SP-6 which is a high performance armour piercing.I don't think there are any other users outside of Russia and Georgia and the were used in Chechnaya and South Ossetia with devastating effect, especially in an urban enviroment as due to the heavy subsonic round the effective range is around 300m.The Vintorez also saw service in the last couple of years of the Soviet-Afghan war.

Both styled on Soviet-Afghan Era with 1980s' dated slings, the sling on the AKMS is a rare double hook with blackened rivets sling used primarily on the AK-74u but prized among Russian AKMS equipped tank crews and VDV paratroopers.

I have a mosin m44 for plinking ammo is very cheap indeed i got a very nice laminate stock 1944 dated all matching serial numbers for £300

If your stuck for ammo ammo zone UK hase a lot of Russian stuff
