On taking the old sponge inners out, they had stuck to the inner workings...how? By really heavy scaly rust on any steel screw they touched (all of them).
Slap with the palm of the handObviously when you wear these things for days on end, you sweat. Sweat does nasty things to steel, we know that, so why not some sort of barrier there? Its not as though it would make you sweat even more is it?
I am thinking Mylar film or even cling film over the electrics (could use Mylar off a kiddies balloon).
Also, try changing the batts without a spiky thing to get to the second battery.out it comes
I would not wear anything else whilst shooting my cannonAllide to the fact that my first set fell apart and were replaced FOC and they dont fold up very well and were actually not that comfortable prior to paying an extra £30 on the gel kit to make them serviceable, I am not sure they were such a great buy after all.
Good, but not great and over priced taking the above into account. Yes, they are supposed to be waterproof...obviously only from the outside
I made John laugh when he shot the CheyTac with the can on....my reaction was something like "You're s*** me!!!"
It was an education mate, like I said, they had a couple of bog chain handles and a hummer under them when I played!! (courtesy of the big red 1 or whoever they were in Iraq).
