If anything comes of it, were you drunk? There is no evidence of any blood alcohol level or obvious drunken behaviour likely to endanger you or others. The officer was most likely concerned that you got to your destination safely and I think he acted accordingly.

I think your right not going to stress about it just in this day and age with anti shooting stance with some police forces and home office etc

I would say you've nothing to worry about BTP wise,from my experience they like to get involved as little as possible...light touch and all that.

You say you were supping whilst on railway property, if so, you were breaking a Railway Bylaw. I don't know what the status is of this offense ... penalty ticket or dealt with at the magistrates' court ... do we have any BT Peelers here would can illuminate? If you'd been D&D you'd have been 'lifted' then and there.

My own view is that you're not really at risk of them taking your FAC unless there's a pattern of this sort of behaviour.

I would suggest he was just recording the meeting without coffee in case anything happened later and to heads up BTP aat the end of your route that a merry man was on his way.

Railway staff (and therefore
I assume the BTP) are obviously very wary of the signs of suicide.

They tend to look at people on their own at the end of platforms. You having a crafty brew no doubt fitted the profile.

thinking about it, yer probably! another shooter told me that the PNC puts a firearms marker on a certficate holder but it doesnt go into detail about the (firearms) marker so the plod would have to look up what the firearms marker meant !?
