Multiply the following by two for myself and my son,

As per Blackstuff
Indoor club - Shop/reception area and 20m .22rf and pistol calibre range, access to woodland/quarry for PSG (and formerly MOD rents but no longer) - £125 + £5 per PSG session each

Indoor club - small club room and 20/25m range - £115 each

Outdoor club - access to MOD ranges only, 6 to 12 shoots a year depending on getting cancelled by the MOD - £95

Clay Pigeon, large cleared woodland area with four stands and a practice trap, large porta-cabin with hot sarnies and tea/coffee - £35

The thing that shocked me is that even with reloading all our centrefire ammunition the total cost for two of us shooting for a year is between £2,500 and £2,800 :squirrel:

Indoor club with 2 x 25m ranges comprising 8 lanes total. Lounge area with tea/coffee/soft drinks machines etc. Use of club rifles if needed and ammunition can be purchased.

Regular outdoor shooting days at Altcar and Sealand @ 100, 200, 600 & 1000 yds.

All this for the princely sum of £50 pa and £2 range fees for each visit. It'll do for me! :good:

WOW! What a fantastic response, thanks everyone :goodjob: .

One of my clubs is looking at ways of encouraging new members and were wondering if the fees are too high (£120 for adults plus green fees). The problem is the rent on the building that houses the indoor range is pretty high.

However, from what I've seen here it doesn't sound too bad.
