I don't currently shoot MOD ranges as my club has let that one go by the wayside, we're trying to fix that however (we're short of RO's and currently have no in house method to sign off shooters as competent). Anyhoo - that said, I'd like to be able to get on MOD ranges just as soon as we're compliant.

To that end - what are the major points with DIO and Landmarc and then I'll give my useless bint MP something to do? (Yvette Cooper - total anti).

Back to the original point, I think we should be writing to our MPs about the fact that we are angry at being classed as potential terrorists , absurd though it is, people in highly paid jobs in the police and HO could not think of any better group of people to target as, would be jihadists, than us??? Vetted , fee paying,tax paying, law abiding people !!
What would have happened if ACPO suggested opening a "Moslem crimestopper" line? "report a suspicious moslem you know" ??? "free phone line to report suspicious goings on at a mosque near you" , coming soon? I DONT THINK SO, and why.......
There would have been bloody hell on. Human rights this, freedoms that, but shooters dont have any rights.

Very good pint Gazoo, they scrapped that radio ad about shopping people whjo lived alone with blinds drawn, paid cash, hardly went out etc etc as it was an insult to agrophobics, people with no bank accounts, and those who lived opposite a bus stop and who just liked privacy. "Shop a suspicious Mosque goer" - heck the phone would never stop ringing!

TThe police, HO find it easier to victimise and criminalise the law abiding people like shooting soprts enthusiasts because they know we will just take it time and again - unike those who are the REAL problem.
