Grips4guns in the usa.
Ordered over a weekend. Monday afternoon had tracking email. Tuesday the next week they were at my house.
Think they worked out as 68 quid. Plus my bank charged near 3 quid for non sterling and currency exchange fee.
Very good fit to the frame. Good for those with large hands. I chose to slightly sand down part of the left grip as it rubbed my thumb but would have happily shot it as it was

bought a tsc in the end ... couldnt seem to find any decent second hand k22 at decent money .

K22 hasn't been around long enough for a decent second hand pool to establish and if anything like me most K22 owners will think there isn't really anything to trade up too so you will largely be waiting on dead men's shoes.

At least you didn't buy a Buckmark!

Got nice one but a touch older than I'd have prefered , need to upgrade the guide rod and polish out the internals to make it nice .
Hoping if I keep it clean I can shoot standard cci with it .

i had a converted Buckmark carbine, made into a LB pistol, ( lightened milled barrel with carbon fibre barrel sleeve,and Coathanger extender from grip) very accurate gun, well made and reliable as at the end of the day its a Browning, downside is it doesn't look like a "proper" pistol, and is a pig to clean the barrel, as you cant rod it through from breech, either have to use a PB brush on pull through cable, or boresnake, or rod carefully from muzzle end, not ideal.
several guys at my club have the K22, some have "light strike" problems, but others work fine, the new 21 round capacity mag is a big plus factor and game changer, compared to the others 10 and 12 round mags. the new K22 "race gun" looks and feels superb, handled one at local RFD, it has a Shield type red dot sight built into slide, great sight picture,fluted compensated barrel too and approx £900, so cheaper than the better 1911 clones.i,d go for that personally.

Just tried out my new (to me) K-22 X-Trim plus, first time I've shot a handgun as my shooting is a fairly recent hobby. I part ex'd a nice Steyr .308 for it with some helpful chaps in Bromsgrove who had that rarity a second hand K-22. It does seem a bit daft to compare the costs of the rifle vs. the K-22, but that's mainly down to the oddities of the UK market I guess.

Anyway, it just eats ammunition, cleaned me out today, and I think I'll be asking for an increase next time. I don't really know how to shoot it properly, and the iron sights are not easy with my poor vision, but it seems pretty accurate. Great fun too, looking forward to the next outing with it, by which time I hope to have fitted a red dot on a Fab Defense mount. Might be investing in the 21 round mag at some point too. Quite a different shooting experience to the rifles I'm used to now.

Ok this is my personal take on the current LBP's. I should add that I started shooting in the good old days and my first real pistol was a Colt .45 series 70 in stainless at the age of 16 That was followed by my GLock 21 by the time I turned 17 Then they were all stolen
Anyway, I had a Buckmark LBP, one of the first Alan Wetlake built, fitted with a Volquartsen 12" carbon fiber barrel. It was very accurate and reliable. Personally I found the grip too small. If I was going to shoot GR events I would have stuck with it.
I now have a Low Mill 1911 and I love it, however would I recomend one? god no! It feels great and shoots really well but I have had to do so much to it that I'm in for 2k. Don't get me wrong I not bothered about spending the money on the upgrades it's all the costs of repairs for thing that shouldn't have broken that bothers me or the fact that it has a habbit of breaking just before or during a match.
So far the barrel retaining lug fell off the barrel On inspection there was no penetration on the weld. I didn't bother taking it back to Low Mill as I had waited so long to get it (18 months) that I wasnt prepared to wait for them to source a new barrel. I had also just had the barrel lightened and ported. Next, the safety/slide stop plunger housing decided to part company from the frame. Of course no one had the fitting tool so I ended up ordering a new housing and seating tool from Brownells, another 2 month wait
Then at the last Steel Challenge at Shield the hammer (the only original part left, all others have been upgraded to Wilson Custom Parts) had the top break off and cause the slide to jam. That is now replaced with a Wilson Custom hammer. I am happy with it now and I still stand by the fact that I made the right decision waiting for that over buying a TSC.
However if I was to buy another LBP the one I would choose right now is the K22, I have played with a few and I think it is the best option available at the moment. It just needs a good red dot mounting option.

I find it sad that after some of the great pistols I used to shoot, I am only allowed to play with .22 long b as IMO they are so toy like compared to a full auto 45, better than nothing I suppose,
