Might be an idea to send a proper, written, snail mail letter by Recorded delivery. Focuses the mind a little...

My MP is John Redwood. I went to see him after Dunblane.
He said that he`d had several letters from shooters and nothing from the anti`s.
He had visited the local shooting club a few times and was pretty supportive.
No idea where he stands on the issue now.
As a slight aside. My MOT tester ( I am a mechanic!) is a cracking clay shooter and also owns 22 and 243 as he does some gamekeeping.
He is completely against pistol ownership and cant understand why anyone would want to own any!
Strange world!

Any intelligent and eloquent soul want to knock a standard letter together? That way we're all singing from the same karaoke machine.

it will be interesting to see the look on his face when the next labour government propose banning 'evil' .243s, which are after all based, on the infamous .308 round, used in deadly, evil conflicts worldwide, and is even used in the army in their deadly evil machine-guns!!!

My MP would probably be very anti if he knew I was pro....... He hates me! LOL!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Did you say the same could be applied to HIS choice of firearms? No friend of the sport for sure.
