But reversed! :o

I just looked up Diggle ranges and it's an 800 mile round trip - mind you if there's plenty of fabric/craft shops nearby my wife might approve the trip! ;)

On a serious note as much I'd like to do something like this it's just not feasible at this point in time - maybe after I've finished studying. fingerscrossed

What about a synchronised national shoot? Everyone shoots at their closest 600 yard range, we get a few webcams set up, social media the works :D

seems like the only sensible solution, sorry but I cant see me doing 400 + miles in a day and 8 odd hours on the road, and I wouldn't expect anyone else to either, tesnews

It is tricky!
I personally could do Diggle as I have family in Leeds so could stay there the weekend.(And pop into Hannams!)
But I can see it a grind to do for the southerners in the same way Bisley is a grind for oop t`north.
The last time I went to Diggle was for the first big cowboy action comp so probably 20 years back.
Maybe we need to discuss the course of fire. The one I roughly described may not be feasible at Diggle?
I think any event has to be worthy of the effort to get to it. I perceive an event that is a minimum of 60 rounds and folk do it 2 or 3 times.
I think the next month to discuss with a view to making a range booking for possibly September summer time and decent weather.
Maybe a new thread stickied so people can say where they would be prepared to travel to? A poll but not a poll!
I would love to see a big event for all the members of this forum.
Tony

Tony, if you start a new thread Christel is sure to pick it up and put a sticky on it, she might even pop it in it's own section.

If it's at Bisley everyone who enters will need to be full individual NRA member, that was the problem when the k31 shoot was posted by Kenny c, only 4 that put their names forward were members.
I'm up for this when do you want the deposit.

This has been discussed before (and in someways done by Ovenpaa and the S-Class crew), and is good idea...we even considered the possibility of handicaps based on the local weather...

...webcams etc. would be fun, but I'm sure we could trust those who didn't want to go that far - If you could coordinate it all on the same day (akin to herding cats I would imagine) then people could simply phone their results in, or post them here...

Webcams were really just for the laugh and banter :-)
