Had i only said "he armed our enemies" then it would be true that it was the politicians/governments/militaries that armed the soldiers, however the sentence was "he armed our enemies with a fairly decent gun The decency of the gun being the salient point :55:

In that case Blackstuff you must also have some feeling over the Mauser brothers as they equipped our major enemies of the World Wars with a decent rifle.
