That's great, and you're preaching to the converted. My FEO requested I fix an alarm to the property before they allow my variation (6->11 firearms). I chose this and for what we want it seems quite good. I appreciate it isn't RFD quality, but for a simple FAC holder I'm quite pleased. It's as easy as locking/unlocking your car.

Remote keyfobs! Lose those and your security disappears until you get a replacement. Wirelss alarms - each to "tamper with" and get householders to leave them off.

The keypad still works on the main unit even if I don't have a keyfob and I can always disassociate the keyfob with the unit if it's lost. It's just an add-on, nothing more. Not sure what you're trying to say in your second point.
