A good fore sight fix for any military rifle fore sight is to get an spare fore sight, find some one handy at metal work. Have the blade ground off flat with base, have a hole drilled and tapped in the base to accept a suitable sized grub screw which then can be easily altered up or down to adjust POI. A horizontal hole can also be drilled and tapped into the vertical hole for keeper screw, me, I just use loctite to secure at the correct hight.
Saves a lot of faff on swapping over foresights and the original can be put back if you want to sell on.
