What is the optic on the grass? - Rifle looks very 'trick' (wished mine looked like that!)
Also where did you buy the 'brass catcher'? If that is what it is (I do hope so), stray brass can be a bit of a problem on the range.
The sight is a cheap and cheerful Accushot/Leapers 4-12x scope. One of the ones with that pointless 36 colour reticle. It used to bounce around between my AUG and SGC LRA9 but now just sits gathering dust.
I got the brass catcher from 'merica from
http://www.brasscatchers.com/store/brasscatcher.html. I got a friend to bring it (and another one) but i'm pretty sure they post to the UK directly, i was just saving on the p&p
Here's a better picture of it;
It is a handy but of kit as the AUG really does ping the brass around! It also doubles as a handy cheek riser as the ACOG sits a little too high on the AUG for my liking

Thank you - I did do a Google search and found that site: had hoped that there would be a UK importer!
PS - I also have the same moderator (very good aren't they!).

Wildcat Predators are the best non-titanium sound moderator money can buy IMO

Do you have a modified trigger unit? and if so: what (Trigger Tamer?) and where did you buy it.
Used the Aug on the 100m range and the trigger does now feels a bit stiff, struggling to get consistent groups.

try it at 300-600, you will probably find the accuracy is more acceptable, as everyone seems to want/expect one hole groups at 100

the trigger is never going to be a match trigger, but if you practice good technique you can work with the trigger rather than fight it.

Yes its a Trigger Tamer i've got in mine which i got from the US, but as it was a good 4-5 years ago i can't remember who it was exactly, although i do seem to remember that the guy stopped exporting them a while back
EDIT: It was from here;
http://www.triggertamer.com/page5.html
But the guy has started to take the p!$$ with the price, i think it was $25 when i bought mine and when it arrived i thought it was still a bit steep :roll: And yes he no longer ships internationally

Try one of these:

I've yet to get around to fitting mine, but have heard good things about them (which is why I bought it).

I generally currently use 55gr of various manufacturers – usually S&B: however I have been reading that 62gr or 77gr provides better accuracy.
What are the thoughts of the collective, many (probably most) have much more experience than I.
