Just heard from the owner,
"The rifle loaded a round and was fired upon doing so the rear of the case split , the bolt back , the rear of the top rail cracked about 1 ½ inch at the rear , the metal section that holds the top and bottom section pin sheared and the mag disintegrated onto the floor. "
Deja Vu?, exactly the same damage as mine.

I can't think of a competition where increased action speed would provide a decisive advantage over accuracy. As far as I know, they can all be won with a bolt gun. Which comps are we talking about?

As far as I know, the fastest comp is 2 shots in 3 seconds Could you really do that with a bolt gun?

If you can put three tracer in the air at the same time with a bolt gun and take 34 aimed shots in one minute with an SMLE then 2 shots in 3 seconds with a bolt gun is doable.

To be honest the SGC Unicorn (lever release) is at a disadvantage speed wise compared to someone who can shoot a lever action properly.

Are we not speaking about Gallery Rifle competitions for the 9mm?
