I'm thinking about getting one myself, so I'm really interested in how reliable the feeding/extraction/ejection is.

Certainly on paper it looks like a nice alternative to another lever action, so it would be nice to hear a range report.
I (together with my club buddies) have put through 150 cheap throw away aluminium cased rounds so far and the accuracy through the iron sights is better than what I normally do with my .357 Marlin with a Williams peep sight at 20/25 yard unsupported stood. The action is easing already and the loading and extraction as worked fine. The only issue is that the indent on the front of the barrel for the front post assembly has been missed off and there is nothing for the retaining grub screw to sit in (the front post assembly wanders with the recoil inertia). I have e-mailed Armalon and it is being done tomorrow for me on an almost "while you wait" basis so no grumbles with customer service.

I would have liked the .45 ACP version but my local range restiction meant that I would get to shoot the 9mm more often. The Armalon barrel machinist who I met at Oxford said that he felt that if anything the 9mm recoiled more than the .45 ACP, but not having shot the larger calibre I could not confirm that.

The wood is well finished and I like the carbine look and feel. It sits nicely in the shoulder and as I said the action has worked flawlessly and the mags sit nicely in to the calibre adapter and does not look out of place in the rifle.

To sum up it is like a mini-Enfield with enough bang to put a smile on your face, well pleased!

Hmm, sounds good. Maybe we should get one that doesn't sound so much - we hear Mr Sarony is about to make a new batch of fully moderated .45ACP PC rifles...

A guy at one of my clubs has got an armalon .22 completely built in moderator, the thing is the most quiet thing ever, all u hear is the small click of the action and the echo of the round hitting the sand.....he wont sell it! Not ever for a grand! I hope pete builds some more of these.....
