Thanks N...Neil?
I take it thats the two gun comps. I should have my M2 by the weekend so looking to try it out in the two gun and PSG. Just 3 + 1 for now until i can get hold of a Nordic extension but at least i will get practice reloading.
I sold my 22 a while back. Looking to put together a custom AR 22 but can bring my M2 along and 22 ammo if anyone is likely to have a spare one hanging around?
Alex
Hi Alex
Just bring .22 ammo, there are several rifles you can use, some of the guys have AR's you might be interested to try & there are a couple of SIGs & always a few 10/22s to get you through the day.
WNSC is the most practical orientated club I have found in the midlands & they have provided some financial support for F4i over the last couple of years now & are a great bunch of guys, they don't suffer fools lightly & for god sake don't mention UK*SA or you might get shown the gate
I can also find you a mag tube you can borrow for the day off my M2 if your stuck, as I will be using my Nova for the rest of this years matches.
Next 2-Gun match at Worcester is May 4th, I am hoping to be there so long as work allows, if not find Jon H a friend of mine & he will take care of your needs.

Thanks N. Much appreciated. I'm relatively new to shooting so have no idea of the history or politics between the different associations. Maybe someone can fill me in or is that worth another thread? ; )

Some help please guys?
I've just got my Mossberg 930JM Pro :shakeshout:
May I ask for choke help please. It comes with Imp Cyl, Full and Mod chokes.
Which to be used with slug and which for shot for target SG and practical SG comps?
I've found some rather 'pretty' other chokes - any experiences please? The choke key is a c**p fit so an external tube is looking good.
Shot sizes - I read that around 7.5 or 6 is good for plates and whatever slugs you can buy. Will reload later
I may fit an optic sight later - any suggestions re scope rails please?
Dromia, I know this has been 'forumed' before but could not find it hence new, repeated question - sorry!
Thanks all,
JohnG :cornwall:

You could try a pattern plate or pattern targets to see which choke is best for birdshot at the distances you will be shooting steel plates at, do it for buckshot too, or go MOD for birdshot and maybe buck but I wouldn't go less than improved cyl on slug, you could cut one open and see if it will drop through your choke, I know the slugs from my Lee slug mould wont fit through full choke and would be tight through cylinder if using plastic wads they are fine using fibre wads though.
You will be putting yourself in Open Class if you stick a scope/sight on it.

Improved cylinder or modified.. I tend to use modified for everything (including slug - I only shoot fibre wads), and I'd go for 7.5's, but as yours is a semi you need to work out what the gun likes and what you can get locally :)
I shoot Gamebore velocity 7.5 28g fibre wads. But I shoot pump..
