You could certainly fit a reflex suppressor which would extend the full distance back and add a couple of inches to the barrel at the front to give a suppressor overall length of around 14" and get some reasonable sound reduction and not have to worry about breaking the law or having the suppressor fixed in place.

I'm thinking of doing it with my GSG5 - just not sure where to take it.
I live in Northumberland - any advice on suitable gunsmiths? - I know where the local places are but do not know what the quality is like.

Have a word with Dave at Bowtec in Chester-le-Street (on the industrial estate beside Bradford Stalker). He does good work at reasonable prices and will give you a no BS assessment as to whether he would/could do the work

Hi this is my Browning Buckmark with Vortex SPARC red dot. It's my first rimfire & I just use it for plinking down the range. It's a fun little thing & more interesting than a 10/22 which everyone else seems to have as their first semi auto.

My CMMG, had it for nearly 2 years now and it runs like a top. Dont use it as much as I'd like as I'm scared in case someone reports me for shooting rabbits with a machine gun!! I use the bolt action during daylight hours!!!
Looking to acquire a .223 upper for it as well if anyone knows of one for sale.

Nice one mate.

Don't be too concerned if you are doing your shooting over your own land (or with the owner's permission). As long as it's done with due regard for public safety and all of your paperwork is in order ... you are good to go!

No go and bash some bunnies bangbang
